I was able to access this draft through my iPad. I don’t know what my posts will look like with this technology, but I will attempt a live podcast in the near future.

On Wednesday, February 19, at 6:00 PM, I will offer a generative poetry workshop titled “Family and Other Animals” at Reve Coffee and Books in Hixson, Tennessee. There is a small fee for this workshop to support me and the bookstore. I will have a book signing at the Crazy Book Lady in Acworth, Georgia, on Saturday, February 22. On April 5, I will be included in an authors’ panel at the Trails and Trilliums conference at the Beersheba Springs Assembly on the Cumberland Plateau. This event runs April 4-6 with workshops, presentations, and hikes in Savage Gulf State Park and the surrounding area. Last year, I learned I could draw during one of the workshops. Humanities Tennessee will include a review of It’s Just a Phase in an upcoming edition of the statewide newsletter, “Chapter 16.” It's Just a Phase was one of seven poetry books Walnut Street Publishing launched on November 1, 2024. A year ago, I created a poster from one of my photographs and the poem “Rain.” The poem previously appeared in my book, Healing and Conflict. I am pleased to make “Rain” available as a free downloadable broadside in this edition. I have also recorded the poem.
